How Much Caulk Or Chinking Do I Need?
If you're doing your whole house, enter the perimeter. For a four-sided house like above, the perimeter is the Length + the Width X 2.

If you won't be doing your entire house, just enter the length of the walls you will be doing.
The Total Length of the Log Walls you will caulk or chink = feet.
The Average Number of Log Courses is the number of stacked logs that make up the walls of your house.

In the example shown, the house has 9 courses.
The Average Number of Log Courses of your Walls:
Lineal Feet per Gallon: For example, if the average Joint Width is 1/2" and the average Joint Depth is 1/4", enter 154.
The Lineal Feet Per Gal. based on Average Width & Depth of your joints from the Chart below:
